Carmen Ruffino Kim
Carmen has ten years of business development experience, most of it in real estate. She has tripled deal volume at multiple companies and built the relationships behind those numbers.
She is the daughter of Spanish-speaking immigrants and grew up figuring things out as the family went. That is the part of her work that translates: meeting business owners where they are, listening for what is actually getting in the way, and turning it into something the rest of the team can run with.
Carmen is bilingual and works with Spanish-speaking owners and Spanish-speaking audiences when that is part of the business.
Alex Kim
Alex grew up in Montgomery County, PA and studied business and marketing at Temple University. He moved to Texas in his twenties and met Carmen there.
Most of his twenties were spent as a professional poker player. The work taught him how to think about variance, sample size, and decisions made with partial information, which carried into a second decade as a stock investor and self-taught programmer. He spent that time writing tools that turned company filings, industry data, and market behavior into something he could read at a glance.
Workbench SEO is the next version of that work, applied to local search. Trade and home service businesses depend on being found by the right customer at the right time, and most owners do not have the time to keep up with how Google, Maps, and AI search results decide who shows up. That part is the job. Alex runs the SEO, paid ads, and reporting; Carmen handles client relationships, onboarding, and the bilingual side of the business.
