Carmen Ruffino Kim
Carmen has ten years of business development experience, most of it in real estate. She has tripled deal volume at multiple companies and built the relationships behind those numbers.
Carmen views all businesses she works with as a diamond at the bottom of the ocean. Her favorite type of clients are those who deliver excellent service but need to be discovered. Her job is to get people to find that diamond.
She is the daughter of Spanish-speaking immigrants and grew up figuring things out as the family went. Carmen is bilingual and works with Spanish-speaking owners and Spanish-speaking audiences as well.
Alex Kim
Alex grew up in Montgomery County, PA and studied business and marketing at Temple University. He moved to Texas in his twenties and met Carmen there.
Most of his twenties were spent as a professional poker player. The work taught him how to think about variance, sample size, and decisions made with partial information, which carried into a second decade as a stock investor and self-taught programmer. He spent that time writing tools that turned company filings, industry data, and market behavior into something he could read at a glance.
Workbench SEO is a local search marketing company for trades and home service businesses: the next version of that work. These businesses depend on being found by the right customer at the right time, and most owners do not have the time to keep up with how Google, Maps, and AI search results decide who shows up. Alex runs the SEO, paid ads, and reporting.
